#Tacugama!!! Really cool. One of the grown chimpanzees who is supposed to be the leader has had to continue to fight and hold his spot because he is sick and vulnerable after catching polio from his owner. They are very vulnerable to human carrying diseases. They are divided into 5 stages living quarters.

One final wild excursion, sleeping in #Tacugama, sanctuary for chimpanzees! Beautiful place, cool tour about to begin, great staff, friendly and professional, and the food was so delicious! Off to see the monkeys!!! I wonder if we’ll see Dorothy! Went to sleep and woke up to the sounds of chimpanzees!
